PHILADELPHIA PA (August 23, 2022)–A big lightweight bout will headline RDR Promotions debut at The Clarion Hotel on Friday night, September 23rd as Nahir Albright will take on undefeated Estivan Falcao in a bout scheduled for six-rounds.

Albright of Sicklerville, New Jersey has a record of 14-2 with seven knockouts. The 26 year-old Albright is a six-year professional, and has a slew of good wins which include getting his hand raised against Danny Murray (1-0), Glenford Nickey (4-1-1), Roy McGill (6-1), Dante Cox (6-1), former world title challenger Cosme Rivera, Jeremy Hill (15-1) and Michael Dutchover (15-1). In his last bout, Alright came up short as he dropped a unanimous decision to undefeated Jamaine Ortiz on February 18th in Orlando. The bout headlined a ShoBox: The New Generation card on SHOWTIME.

Falcao of Sao Paulo, Brazil is 11-0 with six-knockouts. The 26 year-old Falcao will be making his United States debut. In Brazil, he defeated undefeated fighters Eduardo Costa Do Nascimento (1-0) and Jefferson Da Silva (5-0). He is coming off a unanimous decision win over Rodolfo Franz on July 24, 2021 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Falco is the brother of Brazil’s Olympic Silver Medal winner Esquiva Falcao (30-0 as a professional) and Bronze Medal Winner Yamaguchi Falcao (21-1-1 as a professional).

A packed undercard is being assembled and already will feature some Philly favorites and prospects.

Vazquez Pounds Out Unanimous Decision over Argel in Philly

PHILADELPHIA (JULY 12, 2022)–Featherweight contender Edward Vazquez pounded out a eight-round unanimous over tough Jose Argel in the main event that topped a seven bout card at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The event was promoted by RDR Promotions.

Vazquez of Fort Worth, Texas was able to figure out Argel’s come-forward style early in the contest as the Texan started slowing down Argel with body shots with both hands. Vazquez was equally effective with the uppercut. Argel continued to attempt to press but that was to his detriment as he ate shots to his flank and face from the pinpoint Vazquez.

Vazquez, 128.8 lbs won by scores of 80-72 on all cards to raise his mark to 12-1. Argel, 127.2 lbs of Carolina, Puerto Rico via Chile is now 8-3.

The exciting co-feature produced a toe-to-toe war that saw Oscar Barajas upset Damon Allen Jr. via six-round majority decision in a lightweight contest.

The bout was thrilling as Allen boxed very well behind a nice jab. Barajas started getting through with left hands and that forced Allen to return with some solid counter rights. The fight really picked up over the final three rounds, with some furious exchanges that each fighter held on at various times in the fights.

Two judges preferred Barajas work as he the visitor took two cards by 58-56 tallies, while a third card read even at 57-57.

Barajas of Mexico won his second straight fight over a Philadelphia-based fighter at the 2300 Arena and is now 18-8-1. Allen of Philadelphia is 16-2-1.

Good looking 19 year-old prospect Isaiah Johnson notched his fifth consecutive stoppage as he took out veteran Rondale Hubbert in the opening round of their four-round junior welterweight bout.

Johnson registered three knockdowns and the bout was stopped at 1:57.

Johnson of Sicklerville, New Jersey is 5-0 with five knockouts. Hubbert of Duluth, Minnesota is 14-23-3.

DeAndre Pettus won a four-round unanimous decision over Chukka Willis in a middleweight contest.

Pettus, 160.5 lbs of Columbia, South Carolina won by shutout tallies of 40-36 on all cards and is now 7-1. Willis, 163 lbs of Emporia, Kansas is 4-17.

Former New York Golden Gloves champion Famous Wilson made a successful pro debut by winning a four-round unanimous decision over Vincent Randall in a middleweight tussle.

Wilson, 162.7 lbs of Deer Park, New York won by scores of 40-36 twice and 39-37 and is now 1-0. Randall, 157.9 lbs of Valparaiso, Indiana is 0-2.

Boimah Karmo won a four-round unanimous decision over Daniel Jiles in a junior middleweight bout.

Karmo, 152.7 lbs of Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania, won by scores of 40-36 and 39-37 twice and is now 3-0-1. Jiles, 151 lbs of Philadelphia is 0-2.

Najeem Johns needed just 16 seconds to win his pro debut over Darryl Chamberlain in a junior welterweight fight.

Johns of Philadelphia landed a right hook that put Chamberlain down face-first and the bout was over.

Johns, 141 lbs is 1-0 with one knockout. Chamberlain, 134.2 lbs of Baltimore, Maryland is 0-1.

Krael Stops Floyd in 4 in Philly

PHILADELPHIA PA (June 28, 2022)–Cameron Krael was very impressive in taking out Vincent Floyd in round four in their six-round middleweight bout that topped an action packed 10-bout card in front of a large audience at the 2300 Arena.

The card was promoted by RDR Promotions.

Krael of Las Vegas and Floyd of Philadelphia fought a nip-and-tuck battle that saw both fighters land flush throughout the bout. Krael was able to surge ahead and drop Floyd twice with body shots, and the fight was stopped at 2:51.

Krael is now 19-22-3 with six knockouts. Floyd is 4-13-1.

Edward Joe Cortes won a six-round unanimous decision over Gorwar Karyah in a super bantamweight bout.

Cortes of Millville, New Jersey won by scores of 60-54 on all cards and is now 10-6-1. Karyah of Philadelphia is 2-3.

In what was the most anticipated battle of the night, Jabril Noble took out Nasir Mickens on round two of their six-round super featherweight bouts featuring Philly-based fighters.

Noble was dominant and showed flashes of being one of Philadelphia’s future prospects. The bout was stopped at 2:46.

Noble is 4-0 with four knockouts. Mickens is 2-2.

Ofacio Falcon remained undefeated with a sixth round stoppage over Ken Porter in the final round of their super featherweight fight.

The fight was marred by Porter’s complaining of repeated low blows. The punches looked to be on the beltline. Falcon was deducted a point. Porter stayed down for five-minutes on three separate occasions. Finally he was deemed unable to continue at 2:26.

Falcon of Bronx, NY is 7-0 with six knockouts. Porter of Saint Louis, MO is 4-3.

Tahmir Smalls remained undefeated with a vicious opening round stoppage over Roque Agustin Junco in a scheduled six-round welterweight bout.

Smalls ended things with a vicious left hook that sent Junco to the canvas, and the bout ended at 2:20.

Smalls of Philadelphia is now 8-0 with five knockouts. Junco of Argentina is 10-12-2.

Rashan Adams stopped Nathan Benichou in round two of their four-round super featherweight fight.

The fight was stopped 28 seconds into round two for Adams of Philadelphia, who is now 3-0 with two knockouts. Benichou of Puebla, Mexico is 2-11-2.

Larry Fryers and Michael Crain fought to a four-round majority draw in a junior welterweight fight.

Fryers of Yonkers, NY won a card 39-37, while two cards were even at 38-38. Fryers is now 11-5-1. Crain of Smyrna, DE is 4-5-1.

Edwin Cortes remained undefeated with a four-round unanimous decision over Juan Gutierrez in a super flyweight bout.

Cortes of Millville, NJ won by scores of 40-35 on all cards and s now 3-0. Gutierrez of Esteli, Nicaragua is 0-2.

Karl Wylie made a successful pro debut with a four-round unanimous decision over Joshua Zimmerman in a lightweight bout.

Wylie of Coatesville, PA won by scores of 40-36 on all cards and is now 1-0. Zimmerman of Baltimore, MD is 0-9.

Rahiem Cooke took a four-round unanimous decision over Anthony Young in a super lightweight bout.
