Split-T Management Triumvirate in Action Tonight in Houston

NEW YORK (JUNE 18, 2022)–Three Split-T Management Fighters will be on display tonight in Houston

Undefeated IBO world Bantamweight champion bantamweight Melissa Odessa Parker defending against Mikenna Tansley at the Bayou Event Center.

Parker of Spring, Texas has a record of 5-0 with two knockouts. The 35 year-old southpaw is a two year-professional who has wins over two undefeated fighters. In her last outing, Parker won the IBO Bantamweight title with a unanimous decision over Calista Silgado on June 19, 2021 in Miami, Florida.

Tansley of Alberta, Canada is 5-0 with one knockouts and is coming off an eight-round majority decision over previously undefeated Danielle Bennett on September 25th in Davenport, Iowa.

On the same card, Giovanni Marquez will look to make it 2-0, when the former National Golden Gloves champion when he makes his hometown debut when he takes on 53-fight veteran Ariel Vazquez in a four-round welterweight bout.

Marquez turned professional on March 11th with a four-round unanimous decision over undefeated Nelson Morales in a bout that was televised on ShoBox: The New Generation from Deadwood, South Dakota.

Marquez, 21 years-old of Houston, Texas began boxing at the age of 12 as he is the son of former U.S. Olympian, world junior middleweight world champion and current broadcaster Raul Marquez.

Marquez had an amateur record of 75-12, which culminated in winning the National Golden Glove tournament this past August in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was named the Most Outstanding boxer in the tournament.

Marquez, who won the 152-pound National Golden Gloves, will begin his pro career around 145-pounds, with the goal to campaign as a junior welterweight.

Vazquez of Managua, Nicaragua, has a win over Sergio Olivas (12-2) and has fought 17 undefeated opponents including former world champion Jamel Herring as well as former world champion Rene Alvarado.

Also on the card will be the return of undefeated middleweight Andreas Katzourakis. Katzourakis will take on Isiah Jones in a six-round bout.

Katzourakis of Greece is 6-0 with five knockouts. The 25 year-old has been off since December 12, 2020 when he took out Brandon Baue in the third round in Miami, Florida. Katzourakis also has a second round stoppage over Edward Brown (7-1).

Jones of Detroit is 9-5 with three knockouts. Jones won his first eight-bouts which was highlighted by a win over undefeated Antonio Wade. Jones also defeated undefeated Donte Stubbs (6-0). Jones has faced seven undefeated fighters and is coming off a defeat to undefeated to Eugene Hill on December 4th in Houston.

Oshae Jones Wins Pro Debut; Omar Rosario Stays Undefeated

NEW YORK (JUNE 14, 2022)–Two Split-T Management had impressive victories over two venues in New York.

On Friday night, 2021 Olympic Bronze Medal winner Oshae Jones made her long awaited pro debut with a shutout six-round unanimous decision over Sonya Dreiling at The Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York. Jones was very impressive as she landed bloodied the nose of Dreiling in the opening frame and landed several eye-popping shots with one knocking the mouthpiece of Dreiling out. Jones of Toledo, Ohio won by scores of 60-54 on all cards to start her pro career off on the the right fioot.

Despite being cut under his right eye, Omar Rosario remained perfect with a six-round unanimous decision over Julio Rosa in a battle of undefeated junior welterweights. The bout took place on Saturday at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. Rosario fought very well, as he showed smooth boxing ability to keep Rosa at bay. The win was especially pleasing as Rosario performed in front of many of his fans as the fight was staged on the annual card on the eve of the Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City. Rosario of Caguas, won by scores of 60-54 twice and 59-55 to raise his mark to 7-0.

Undefeated Welterweight Contender Giovani Santillan Throws Out First Pitch at Padres Game

NEW YORK (JUNE 13, 2022)–Undefeated Welterweight contender Giovani Santillan threw out the first pitch at his beloved San Diego Padres game before Saturday’s game against the Colorado Rockies at Petco Park

The San Diego native, who is managed by Split-T Management and co-promoted by Top Rank and Thompson Boxing, wore number-one, threw a perfect strike that reminded fans of 1976 Cy Young Award winner Randy Jones.

“It was a great experience. Being born and raised in San Diego it was an honor to do this. The Padres have a great team, and being down on the field, and looking up in the stands, gave me the feeling of wanting to fight in a big stadium one day,” said Santillan.

Santillan has a record of 29-0 with 16 knockouts. His next bout will be announced soon.

Packed Weekend for Split-T Management Fighters

NEW YORK (JUNE 10, 2022)–Three Split-T Management fighters will be on display in New York this weekend,

Starting on Friday night at The Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York, 2021 Olympic Bronze Medal winner Oshae Jones will make her pro debut against Sonya Dreiling in a six-round welterweight bout.

Jones, 24 of Toledo, Ohio began boxing at the age of 12, spawning a magnificent amateur career that saw her amass a record of 60-9 whilst competing all over the world.

Oshae received the key to her hometown, and was honored with a parade upon coming home with her Olympic Bronze Medal.

She dominated and won many prestigious tournaments such as the 2020 Stramdja, 2020 Boxam International, 2017 Eastern Elite Qualifier, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Elite Nationals, as well as the 2016 Youth Open and 2014 National PAL.

Two of Oshae’s most significant victories came when she received the Gold Medal at the 2019 Pan Am Games and finished first at the 2020 United States Olympic Trials.

Dreiling of Fort Payne, Alabama is 4-2 with two knockouts. The 32 year-old Dreilng is a three year professional, and has a win over Jordanna Garcia (4-0-1).

At Thursday’s weigh-in, both fighters checked in at 147 3/4 lbs.

On the same card at Turning Stone, heavyweight Joe Jones (13-4, 10 KOs) takes on Amron Sands (11-2, 9 KOs) in a bout scheduled for eight-rounds.

Jones of Lynchburg, Virginia is coming off a second round stoppage over former world title challenger Junior Wright on December 2nd in New York. Jones also has a first round stoppage over previously undefeated Montez Brown (8-0).

Sands of Orlando, Florida is looking to get back in the win column after dropping his last two bouts.

Jones weighed 210 lbs. Sands was 282.
Saturday night in New York, undefeated junior welterweight Omar Rosario looks to make it 7-0 when he takes on fellow undefeated Julio Rosa at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.

Rosario of Caguas, Puerto Rico is 6-0 with two knockouts. The 24 year-old is looking better with each outing as he has wins over three undefeated fighters, Uriel Villanueva (1-0), Wilfred Mariano (3-0) and Marc Misiura (2-0). Rosario is coming off a six-round unanimous decision over Raekwon Butler (4-1) on January 15th in Verona, New York.

Rosa (4-0, 1KO) of Orlando, Florida, is a two-year veteran and is coming off a career best win when took a six-round split decision over previously undefeated Michael Garcia (4-0_. on February 26th in Orlando.

Buckeye Boxers Get Wins Over The Weekend

New York, NY (June 7, 2022)–Ohio natives and Split-T Management fighters Charles Conwell and DeAndre Ware got their hands raised in fights over the weekend.

Thursday night in Montreal, Conwell took out Abraham Juarez Ramirez in round three of their 10-round junior middleweight bout,

Conwell dominated the action as he landed hard combinations until finally breaking through in the second frame by scoring two knockdowns. With Juarez hurt, Conwell ended the fight in round three by sending Juarez to the canvas for a third time, and the bout was stopped at 1:13.

Conwell of Cleveland is now 17-0 with 13 knockouts. Juarez of Mexico City fell to 19-10.

Conwell is promoted by Probellum and DiBella Entertainment.

Saturday night in Toledo, super middleweight DeAnde Ware took an eight-round unanimous decision over tough Philadelphian, Christopher Brooker.

Ware of Toledo controlled the action, and won by scores of 79-73 twice and 78-74 to raise his mark to 15-3-2. Brooker is now 16-11.




Undefeated Junior Middleweight Charles Conwell in Action Tonight in Montreal

New York, NY (June 2, 2022)-Undefeated junior middleweight contender Charles Conwell will take on fight Abraham Juarez Ramirez tonight at the Montreal Casino in Montreal, Canada.

Conwell of Cleveland, Ohio is managed by Split-T Management and has a record of 16-0 with 12 knockouts.

The 24 year-old Conwell is the USBA Junior Middleweight champion, and is considered one of the top young fighters in the sport.

The five-year veteran who was a member of the 2016 United States Olympic team, has wins over Roque Zepeda (4-1-3), Travis Scott (19-3), Courtney Pennington (12-3-3), Wendy Toussaint (12-0), Madiyar Ashkeyev (14-0), and his last bout when he stopped Juan Carlos Rubio (18-0) in three rounds on August 29th in Cleveland,

Ramirez of Mexico City is 19-9 with eight knockouts. The 25 year-old is an eight-year veteran, and has quality wins over Alejandro Meneses (8-2), Ricardo Salas Rodriguez (7-0), Jesus Arriega (2-0), Jorge Garcia Perez (17-1). Ramirez is coming off a loss to undefeated Evan Sanchez on February 19th in Tijuana, Mexico.

Last Wednesday, Split-T Management’s Dalis Kaleipou remained undefeated with a second round stoppage over Cezly Collard at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

With the win, the 23 year-old native of Waianae, Hawaii is now 3-0 with three knockouts.

Kaleipou is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.

The very next night in Dearborn, Michigan, Split-T’s Joseph Hicks (2-0, 2 KOs) remained undefeated with a second round stoppage over Bruno Leonardo Lomay in a scheduled six-round bout.

The 28 year-old Hicks took out Romay, who came in with a record of 21-9.

Knockout Night for Split-T Management Fighters Tiger Johnson and Joseph Adorno

New York, NY (May 23, 2022)-Two fighters under the Split-T Management banner scored impressive stoppage victories on Saturday night.

In Las Vegas, 2021 United States Olympian Tiger Johnson stopped Agustin Kucharski in round three of their six-round welterweight bout.

In round one, Kucharski had blood around the right eye.

In round three, Johnson dropped Kucharski twice with the finisher being a right to the head. Kucharski’s corner threw in the towel at 54 seconds.

Johnson, 142.4 lbs of Cleveland, OH is4-0 with three knockouts. Kucharski, 143.2 lbs of Cordoba, ARG is 8-5-1.

Johnson had a highly decorated amateur career finishing with a record of 188-17, and saw him win a Gold Medal in the 2016 Youth World Championships; a Bronze Medal at the 2019 Pan Am Games; a 2019 Last Chance Qualifier Championship; Four 2017 Elite National Championships; a 2016 Elite National Championship; a 2015 Youth National Championship; and a 2014 National Junior Olympic Championship.

In Orlando, Florida, lightweight Joseph Adorno stopped Juan Santiago in the opening round of their eight-round lightweight bout.

Adorno of Allentown, Pennsylvania landed a six-punch combination that was followed up by a crunching left on the jaw that sent Santiago splashing on the canvas.

With the win, Adorno is now 15-1-2 with 13 knockouts.
