Two-Time Indian Olympian, Vikas Krishan To Make Pro Debut Tonight In Verona, New York

NEW YORK (JANUARY 18, 2019)–Two-Time Indian Olympian , Vikas Krishan is set to make his long awaited pro debut tonight as he competes in six-round junior middleweight bout against six-fight veteran Steven Andrade at The Turning Stone Resort Casino.

Krishan, who is a police officer in his home district of Bhiwani in Haryana, India, weighed 151 3/4 pounds while Andrade was 152 at Thursday’s weigh in.

The bout can be seen on ESPN+.

Krishan, an Olympian in 2012 and 2016 is the only Indian fighter in history to capture gold medals at both the Asian and Commonwealth Games as well as the AIBA Youth Boxing Championships.

In 2012, at the London Olympics, he defeated current IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. via 13-11 decision, only for the decision to be controversially overturned five hours later due to various fouls Krishan committed during the bout.

In the last the Olympics Krishan made it to the quarterfinals. Earlier this year, he became the first three-medal winner of the Asian Games as he won a Bronze Medal.

Split-T Management Signs 21-Time National Amateur Champion Otha Jones III

NEW YORK (January 16, 2019) — Split-T Management is proud to announce the signing of 21-time National Amateur Champion, Otha Jones III to a managerial contract.

The 18 year-old Toledo native was among the top talents in the United States, as he compiled a staggering 283-13 amateur record, highlighted by representing Team USA in several international tournaments including winning a Gold Medal at the International Youth Continental Americas Tournament and Silver Medal at the Emil Jechev Memorial Tournament as well as winning several national tournaments, such as the winning gold medals in United States National Championships (Twice) and the World Championship Qualifier.

Jones, who was also a four-time State Wrestling Champion, was influenced to sign with Split-T Management because of what the company has done for his gym mates.

“After seeing the hard work and dedication and excellence that Split-T Management has shown to my teammates Charles Conwell and Isaiah Steen, I definitely could not think of signing with anyone else,” said Jones. Jones’ dad, also named Otha, shares the same sentiments as his son.

Split-T Management Signs Heralded Amateur Heavyweight Star Sonny Conto to a Management Contract

NEW YORK (January 2, 2019) — Split-T Management is pleased to announce the signing of top amateur heavyweight Sonny Conto to a management contract.

Conto, 22 years-old of Philadelphia, PA was a two-time Pennsylvania Golden Gloves Champion as well as a Silver Medalist in the 2018 National Golden Gloves and a Bronze Medalist in the 2017 National Golden Gloves.

A natural athlete, Conto was an acclaimed baseball pitcher, who pitched for Rowan College, in Gloucester County. Conto, helped his team make it to the Junior College World Series, where his team placed 3rd.

Split-T Management to Unveil Two More Future Stars as Diego Pacheco and Rolando Vargas make pro debuts Tonight

NEW YORK (December 21, 2018) — Tonight, Boxing’s deepest management stable, Split-T Management is set to debut two more of the brightest prospects in the sport.

17 year-old Diego Pacheco of Los Angeles will see action in Mexico, while Rolando Vargas will take on Jessi Hackett in Columbus, Ohio.

Pacheco of Los Angeles was an eight-time National champion, and was the number-one middleweight in both the United States and Mexico.

He will take on Luis Gonzalez (3-3, 1 KO) of Sonora, Mexico in a scheduled four-round bout that will take place in Tijuana..

Pacheco, who is promoted by Matchroom Boxing, weighed in at 159 lbs. at Friday’s weigh in.

Pacheco was a 2017 National Junior Golden Gloves champion, and the 2018 United States Junior Olympic National champion.

Vargas of Milwaukee, is a 2017 National Junior Olympic Champion, will take on undefeated Jessi Hackett (1-0) in a junior welterweight bout, scheduled for four-rounds. That contest will take place on an event that will also feature, Vargas’ Split-T Management stablemates, Charles Conwell, Isaiah Steen and Ardreal Holmes.




Split-T Management Prospects, Ardreal Holmes & Isaiah Steen Look to Stay Undefeated This Saturday in Columbus, Ohio

NEW YORK (December 21, 2018) -Two highly regarded members of the Split-T Management stable will appear in separate bouts this Saturday at Promo West in Columbus, Ohio.

Undefeated junior middleweight Ardreal Holmes fights tough Lucius Jackson in scheduled six-round bout, while Isaiah Steen will take on Tyi Edmonds.

Holmes of Flint, Michigan, brings in a perfect mark of 7-0 with four knockouts.

The 24 year-old Holmes, who was the 2016 United States Olympic alternate will be making his 3rd ring appearance of 2018.

In his last bout, Holmes won a unanimous decision over Rick Graham in Shawnee, OK.

Johnson of Compton, California has a very deceiving mark of 4-4-1 with three knockouts.

In those four wins, Johnson holds victories over two undefeated foes in Daniel Rodriguez (1-0) and Oleg Zubenko (3-0), as well as a knockout win over Thomas Hill (6-1).

Holmes will be the 6th undefeated opponent for Johnson.

Steen of Cleveland, Ohio has a record of 11-0 with nine knockouts. The 22 year-old will be making his 2nd appearance of 2018, as he is coming off a 4th round stoppage over Cameron Burroughs on July 28th in Louisville, KY.

Steen will set the tone for his family, as he is the co-feature of this event as his brother, 2016 U.S. Olympian Charles Conwell will be the headliner.

Edmonds has a record of 11-3 with eight knockouts, will be Steen’s toughest opponent to date.

Undefeated Super Welterweight Charles Conwell Takes on Manny Woods This Saturday in Columbus, Ohio

NEW YORK (December 20, 2018) -This Saturday night at Promo West in Columbus, Ohio undefeated super welterweight prospect Charles Conwell takes on the battle tested Manny Woods in an eight-round bout.

This will be the first scheduled eight-rounder for the undefeated 2016 Olympian.

Conwell, 21 years-old of Cleveland will be making his 2nd start in his native Buckeye state.

In what will the 3rd outing of 2018, Conwell, who has a record of 8-0 with six knockouts, Conwell will look for an impressive performance over Woods, who himseld brings in a record of 16-7-1 with six knockouts. Woods has impressive wins over the likes of undefeated Sheldon Moore (3-0) and Elias Espadas (9-2).

Conwell is coming off an impressive stoppage over Travis Scott (19-3) on July 14th in New Orleans.

Teofimo Lopez has star making performance in New York City

NEW YORK (December 10, 2018) -Top lightweight Teofimo Lopez scored an explosive 44-second knockout over Mason Menard this past Saturday night at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in a scheduled ten-round bout that was viewed by a massive audience on ESPN.

Lopez landed a crushing right hand that had Menard plummeting face-first on to the cnavas, in what was the opening televised bout on the Vasilly Lomachenko – Jose Pedraza lightweight unification card.

Lopez is now the NABA, NABF and USBA Lightweight champion.

The knockout, was featured on ESPN SportCenter, and all over social media, took place on an event which was the 2nd highest rated boxing card on cable television this year

With the win, Lopez pushed his perfect mark to 11-0 with nine knockouts, and now he feels he is ready for anybody in the lightweight division.

Heralded Prospect Brian Ceballo to make New York Homecoming on Saturday night at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden

NEW YORK (December 7, 2018) -Undefeated welterweight prospect Brian Ceballo returns home for the 1st time as a professional when he takes on 38-fight veteran, Daniel Calzada this Saturday night at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.

The 24 year-old from New York City has a record of 5-0 with three knockouts.

The scheduled six-round part will be part of the undercard, which will be streamed live beginning at 6 p.m. eastern time on ESPN+.

Ceballo, who was a five-time New York Golden Gloves champion and took home a staggering 17 National titles, is promoted by 360 Promotions, has been kept very active as this will be his 6th fight in nine fights since turning professional in March.

Teofimo Lopez takes on Mason Menard This Saturday at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden and Live on ESPN

NEW YORK (December 5, 2018) -Boxing’s top prospect and world ranked lightweight, Teofimo Lopez will be back in the spotlight when he takes on the battle-tested Mason Menard at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.

The scheduled 10-round bout will be seen live on ESPN as a support bout to the lightweight unification battle between Vasyl Lomachenko and Jose Pedraza.

Lopez and Menard will vie for the coveted and vacant NABF title.

Lopez, who now resides in Las Vegas, returns to to his birth city as the 21 year-old was born in Brooklyn, will look to continue the momentum that he started to gather after taking out William Silva on July 14th on ESPN.

That win upped his mark to 10-0 with eight knockouts, and made him a world-ranked fighter as he is now rated #11 by the WBA and #14 by the WBO.

In Menard, he will be facing an opponent who has a terrific mark of 34-3 with 24 knockouts. Menard is no stranger to taking out prospects as he has wins over Bahodir Mamadjonov (19-2) and Eudy Bernardo (21-0).
