Poindexter Knight, Jr. remains undefeated with unanimous decision over Jean Carlos Sepulveda in Atlantic City debut

New York, NY (June 4, 2018)–Poindexter Knight Jr. remained perfect with a 4-round unanimous decision over Jean Carlos Sepulveda in a welterweight bout that took place this past Saturday night at Boardwalk Hall In Atlantic City.

Knight of Philadelphia raised his mark to 4-0.

Despite being cut over his right eye from an accidental headbutt in the opening frame, the poised Knight dominated the action as he featured hard combinations that he worked behind an a accurate jab.

Knight, 22 of Philadelphia won by tallies of 40-36 twice, and 39-37.

“I got headbutted in the 1st round because my opponent kept coming in with his head down. I re-thought about things and kept my elbow up. It was a was a great learning experience because I had never been cut in my career. I kept my cool, made adjustments and dominated the fight.” said Knight.

“I am looking forward to getting back in the ring.”

Undefeated Welterweight Poindexter Knight excited for Atlantic City debut on Saturday night at Boardwalk Hall

New York, NY (June 1, 2018)–Undefeated welterweight prospect, Poindexter Knight, Jr. is looking to make his splash in his Atlantic City debut this Saturday at Boardwalk Hall when he takes on Jean Carlos Sepulveda in a bout scheduled for four-rounds.

Knight weighed in at 148.8 lbs while Sepulveda was 143.4

Knight (3-0, 2 KOs) of Philadelphia is eager in front of what is expected to be a knowledgeable and star-studded crowd on Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame Weekend.

“Training went great. I feel strong, and I am ready to show out,” said the 22 year-old former National Golden Gloves champion.

“I really do not know anything about my opponent. He is a last minute replacement.”

Knight, who hails just 60 miles from the famous shore town, has been thinking about this moment for a long time.

“Being from Philadelphia, I know all about the tradition of boxing in Atlantic City. This is a dream come true. All of the greats have fought there. I plan on making a statement. It gives me a lot of motivation to be able to perform in front of the legends of boxing. It is everything that I have dreamed about. I am going in there to make a statement.

New York, NY (May 19, 2018)-Super Middleweight prospect Marquis Moore remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over Troy Artis at The Amazura Concert Hall in the Jamaica section of Queens, New York.

Moore used quick combinations and focused on the body to control the action to cruise home with the victory, and he remained perfect at 7-0.

Split-T Management signs undefeated Junior Lightweight Erick De Leon

New York, NY (May 18, 2018)-Split-T Management has signed undefeated junior lightweight contender Erick De Leon to an exclusive managerial contract.

De Leon, 26 years old of Detroit by way of Sabina Nuevo Leon, Mexico has a record of 17-0-1 with 10 knockouts.

Before turning professional, De Leon was a three-time (2009-2011) National Golden Gloves champion as well as a Ringside World champion in 2008. He also was a 2008 National Silver Gloves champion.

De Leon turned professional in 2012, and has amassed wins over Fidel Navarrete (8-1-2), Jose Salinas (10-2-1) & Daulis Prescott (31-4).

In his last bout, De Leon waged a ten-round battle with fellow undefeated top 130-pound contender Andy Vences which ended in a draw.

Marquis Moore takes on Troy Artis on Friday night in Jamaica, New York

New York, NY (May 17, 2018)–Friday night at the Amazura Concert Hall in the Jamaica section of Queens, New York, undefeated super middleweight Marquis Moore will battle Troy Artis in a six-round bout.

Moore of Colorado Springs, Colorado has a record of 6-0, with four knockouts, and will be looking to impress the New York fight crowd in his 2018 debut.

The 26 year-old Moore is coming off a 1st round stoppage over Zachary Bunce on October 19th in Atlanta, Georgia.

I can’t wait for Friday night. I am all about Perfect Pains Silent Victory (PPSV),” said Moore. “What I mean is that I had to endure a lot pain during this camp but it was perfect because everything that I did, and had to go through will lead me to victory tomorrow.”

Jones of Detroit, has a record of 6-0 with three knockouts.

The 23 year-old Jones was 52-2 as an amateur, and was the 2016 National Golden Gloves champion.

Jones, who was mentored by longtime and respected Detroit boxing man, Carlos Llinas, possesses a fan-friendly style, as he likes to apply relentless pressure to his opponent.

Split-T Management Signs 5 time NY Daily News Golden Gloves Champion and 2017 US National Welterweight Champion Brian Ceballo

New York, NY (March 19, 2018)–Split-T Management is proud to announce the signing of 5-time New York Golden Gloves champion and 2017 United States Amateur champion Brian Ceballo to a management contract.

The 24 year-old is a native of Brooklyn, New York had a stellar amateur career that saw him win 17 National championships.beginning at 11 years old when he won the National Silver Gloves championship.

Ceballo, who began boxing at 8 years-old won 11 National titles as a junior and 6 National titles as a senior which includes the 2016 National Golden Gloves title, 2017 United States National Title.

Ceballo also captured the 2014 World Series of Boxing Team Trials, and was a Olympic trials semifinalist.

Besides boxing, Ceballo is a well rounded individual as he plays the piano, guitar, and has been singing since he was 15 years-old.

“Brian has been the top amateur welterweight in New York, as well as the United States for the past several years. He has proven time and time again that he is an elite fighter and I’m glad he decided to have Split-T Management guide his professional career to the top of the welterweight division,” said Split-T Management CEO David McWater.

“I first met (CEO of Split-T Management) David McWater at the 2016 National Golden Gloves, which I won. I wasn’t ready to turn professional, but we talked. I told him when I do turn professional, you will be the first I talk to,” said Ceballo. “After that, we kept in touch and after I won the US Nationals Championships in 2017, I reached out to him and said that I wanted to turn professional. I would talk to other managers, some who appeared to offer me better deals, but I decided to sign with him because I had a great relationship with him, and I liked him as a person. I felt that he would do the best for my career.”

Ceballo sees himself as a player in the competitive 147-pound division.

“The welterweight division has always been a glamour division where the best fighters are at. In a few years, I will be up there with best and become a world champion!”

The 5’10” Ceballo has a diverse style which he feels will help him excel to the top of the division.

“I can box, and I can punch, but what separates me from the others is that I am a very smart fighter and can adapt to any opponent. You will never see me fight the same way!”

Knight (1-0, 1 KO) the 2-time Philadelphia Golden Gloves champion and 2017 National Golden Gloves champion will be making his hometown debut as he will take on Jordan Morales in a bout scheduled for four-rounds.

The 22 year-old is very enthusiastic to be on display in front of the hometown fans.

2017 National Golden Gloves champion Poindexter Knight, Jr. wins his Pro debut

New York (December, 11, 2017)–On December 1st, welterweight prospect Poindexter Knight, Jr. won his anticipated professional debut when he stopped Samuel Forjoe in the first round of their scheduled four-round bout at The Strand Ballroom and Theater in Providence, Rhode Island.

The 2017 National Golden Gloves champion out of Philadelphia landed a hard combination the corner that had Forjoe bending over, and the bout was stopped in just 63 seconds.

Knight is the latest top-prospect to debut for Split-T Management, and he is promoted by Evander Holyfield’s Sports and Entertainment.

“Everything went well, I was excited and nervous, but I got through it,”said Knight.

“I thought my opponent would have a little more for me, but I did what I had to do in there and I got him out of there. It was great to get the knockout in my pro debut,” continued Knight.

Knight is eager to get his next victory, and he is looking to do in front of his hometown fans.

“I am hoping to fight in front of my hometown fans in 2018. That would be a goal for the upcoming year. I can’t wait as I am coming strong in 2018.”

Knight is trained by his father Poindexter Knight, Sr, and the elder Knight was happy with his son’s performance.

“Poindexter looked relaxed, and it looked like it was his 10th fight. I am happy to be with Split-T Management. They gave us a chance when no one else did. We wanted to turn pro for a while and a lot of managers made a lot of broken promises. I put Poindexter back in the Golden Gloves, and he won, which opened a lot of doors,” Said Poindexter Knight, Sr.
